OHC currently holds the
contracts for both the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
Districts II and VII. This is the second award of both contracts to OHC
within the past ten years. OHC has recently completed several lead
inspections and risk assessments for each of the districts.
The property management
division of FDOT schedules projects in phases in conjunction with the
progression of roadway projects. A large amount of properties are generally
released at one time for each phase of the project. Because of the nature
of this execution, these contracts demand a quick turnaround once the
parcels are released for surveying/assessment. OHC has always been able to
accommodate the constant urgency that these contract demand.
The contracts (located in
the Jacksonville and Tampa areas) encompass several adjacent counties in
each district. The services required include asbestos renovation and
demolition surveys, lead surveys and risk assessments, specification and
work plan development, project oversight, monitoring and closeout.
